There is good news for all the fans of Rocky Bhai aka Yash. The national heartthrob has begun shooting for the much-anticipated KGF: Chapter 2 and we have proof! The director of the film, Prashanth Neel, took to his official Twitter handle so share stills of the cast and crew and left it to the fans to guess the location of the shoot.
For those of you who have joined in late, the shooting of the Yash and Sanjay Dutt starrer, KGF: Chapter 2 was suspended after the government of India announced a complete lockdown owing to the COVID-19 situation. If reports are to be believed, the team has now resumed shooting and is now supposed to complete only 20-25 days of the shooting.
Taking to his official Twitter handle, director Prashanth Neel said, “Let’s get it done!!!! #KGFCHAPTER2 (sic).” Check out the tweet here:
Earlier speaking to Banglore Times about resuming the shoot of the Yash starrer, Prashanth Neel said, “We are eager to head back to shoot, straight up. Everyone will now need to take a lot of precautions, so the process will be a lot slower than before. Eventually, we have to get back on the horse so we are being very cautious about it. We will not shoot with everyone, those portions we will shoot later if and when the situation gets better. Right now, we will work with a restricted crew. We will start with portions that will require just a few people and we will get more as the situation gets better.”
The anticipation around KGF: Chapter 2 is palpable also given the fact that the film features Raveena Tandon and Sanjay Dutt in key roles. While Raveena will essay the role of Prime Minister Ramika Sen, Sanju Baba will play the antagonist Adheera. Meanwhile, with Sanjay Dutt announcing a break from films after being diagnosed with Lung Cancer, there is still no clarity as to how will his chunk be completed.
