Shankar’s ‘Indian 2’ Starring Kamal Hassan & Kajal Aggarwal Gets A Release Date!

South superstar Kamal Hassan who is busy anchoring ‘Bigg Boss Tamil 3‘, recently resumed his shoot for his next release, ‘Indian 2‘, which is being helmed by the director, Shankar. The film also stars ‘Maari’ actress Kajal Aggarwal in lead opposite Kamal.

Kajal is currently preparing for her role in the film, as she is busy learning Indian Martial Art, Kalaripayattu.

Kamal and Kajal in the film will be seen performing some high octane and breathtaking action sequences.

Kamal who never hesitates in experimenting with his looks for his characters recently went on to shave his moustache off for his character in ‘Indian 2‘.

‘Indian 2‘, is a sequel to 1996 release Tamil blockbuster hit ‘Indian‘.

The latest news related to the sequel is according to reports of TOI, ‘Indian 2‘ is slated for release on Tamil New Year in 2021(14th April).

Apart from Kamal and Kajal Aggarwal, the film also has Rakul Preet Singh, Vidyut Jammwal among others in major roles.

‘Indian‘, was vigilante action film which released in 1996 had Kamal playing dual roles of father and son.

The original film had actress Manisha Koirala in lead, along with actresses Urmila Matondkar and Sukanaya in major roles.
