Jennifer Aniston has kissed several of her co-stars on the screen, but for her 2013 movie We’re The Millers, she had to kiss the teenage actor Will Poulter for a scene. Years later, Aniston shed light on how she felt about kissing a co-star who was 10 years younger than her. Interestingly, Poulter, too, in a different interview, spoke about the same, adding it all happened before the concept of intimacy coordinators was introduced in movies. Scroll down to know the details.
Jennifer Aniston ended up kissing Will Poulter in We’re The Millers for a scene where she teaches him how to kiss. In the movie, Aniston played the role of his fake mother. In an interview, Poulter later admitted to being “very sorry” about the whole thing. For the unversed, the road movie also starred Emma Roberts and Jason Sudeikis in prominent roles.
According to Showbiz Cheatsheet, Jennifer Aniston researched whether kissing a teenager was legal or not before she started filming for the movie. “It was just a kiss. That’s not illegal,” said Aniston, adding she “looked way into it,” before she went on the set. The movie’s director, Rawson Thurber shared that Aniston was reportedly comfortable kissing the 19-year-old Will Poulter, adding that it was her idea to kiss the teen star. “I think it was Jen who thought it would be funny if Rose [Aniston] joined in, which made all the difference in the sequence,” said Thurber.
