Basic Instinct star Sharon Stone has taken the media by storm as she reveals the producer’s name who asked her to sleep with co-star Billy Baldwin to make their film, Silver, work at the box office. For the unversed, Billy is the brother of movie star Alec Baldwin.
Sharon Stone recently appeared on Louis Theroux’s podcast and revealed that producer Robert Evans told her to sleep with Billy Baldwin on the set of Silver to have better chemistry on screen. She said, “If I could sleep with Billy, then we’d have chemistry on screen, and if I would just have sex with him, then that would save the movie, and the real problem with the movie was me because I was so uptight, and so not like a real actress who could just f*** him and get things back on track. The real problem was I was such a tight a**e.”

Sharon Stone also praised her Basic Instinct co-star, Michael Douglas, and revealed that he knew how to hit the marks and do the lines compared to Baldwin. She said she didn’t have to sleep with Michael to have good chemistry on screen. The senior actress explained how frustrated she was as she was not allowed to have her choice of co-star. In the episode, she blasted Billy Baldwin further and claimed it would have been better if they had hired a co-star with talent who could deliver a scene and knew his lines.
Stone also revealed that Silver was ultimately unsuccessful at the box office. Meanwhile, Billy Baldwin responds to Sharon’s claims and reveals that the actress has a crush on him. He took to his X account and wrote, “Does she still have a crush on me, or is she still hurt after all these years because I shunned her advances?” He added that Baldwin had meetings with producer Robert Evans to give him control over the intimate scenes so he would not have to kiss Sharon Stone. He even shared a still from the film along with the tweet.
