But the tables turned for the worst when he was accused of domestic violence by British dancer Grace Jabbari. Several women came forward and accused him of similar charges. For the unversed, Jonathan began dating Grace Jabbari on the sets of Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantamania. He made a 911 emergency call in March 2023 after finding his former girlfriend unresponsive in his house. The Creed III actor was later arrested on assault, strangulation, and harassment charges. In December 2023, the court pronounced him guilty, and he was set to serve his sentence in March 2024. It was then postponed to April 8 due to post-conviction motions.
Emma Duncan claims Jonathan Majors threatened to kill her!
In an interview with The Times, Jonathan Majors’ former girlfriend Emma Duncan has leveled severe allegations, including choking her, physically abusing and bruising her. She claimed he “threatened to strangle and kill her” in 2016 and “slammed her body into their mailbox.” The altercation left her with bruises on her back and arm. That isn’t it; Emma also claims Jonathan threw her onto the ground and bruised her head with his own the following year.
Another woman, Maura Hooper, claimed she got pregnant a few months into her relationship with Jonathan Majors. But the former Marvel actor allegedly refused to pick her up from the clinic after abortion. She was also “not allowed to speak to anyone about their relationship, isolating her from a support system.”

Maura Hooper added, “I felt trapped and alone.” After the breakup, Jonathan reportedly learned that she was dating someone he knew. The consequence was heart-wrenching! Jonathan Majors called her a “wh*re” on the phone call and added, “I hope you die; kill yourself. I’m going to rip you out of my heart the way they ripped our baby out of you.”
Attorney of Jonathan Majors, Priya Chaudhry, has denied these allegations and called Maura Hooper and Emma Duncan “toxic.”
Allegations of crew members from Lovecraft Country sets
Several members of HBO’s Lovecraft Country’s cast and crew also spoke against Majors. Jessica Pollini, Lisa Zugschwerdt, and several other female crew members called out his threatening behavior, which made it difficult for them to do their jobs.
