
Shahid Kapoor is gearing up for the remake of the Telugu film Jersey and has been prepping hard for the same. But the film is also special because it is set to bring him and father Pankaj Kapur together one more time. Recently, the actor opened up on working with his father and how he is nervous about it.
As in lockdown, Shahid Kapoor decided to catch up with his fans and initiated a #AskShahidKapoor session on Twitter. While there were many questions pouring in about his personal life, films and the time in lockdown, one particular question caught the actor’s attention and he decided to answer.
A Twitter user asked, “@shahidkapoor Experience working with Pankaj Kapoorji in Jersey.” To which Shahid replied, “I still get nervous sharing the frame with him.”

However, Shahid Kapoor and papa Pankaj Kapur have shared the screen in Mausam, which also starred Sonam Kapoor. They were also seen in Vikas Bahl’s Shaandaar which had Alia Bhatt alongside the actor in lead.
Coming to Jersey, when another Twitter user expressed that he has huge expectations from the film and asked if can the actor share something about it. Shahid Kapoor replied, “Just trying our best to make a good film. But I am very happy with whatever we have done so far. Really enjoying the journey and the team.”

Jersey is a sports drama directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri and stars Mrunal Thakur opposite Shahid Kapoor. The shooting was on since a while but the pandemic brought things to a halt. Shahid has also shared that he is missing the sets in his recent Instagram post.
