It has also been reported that Wicked: For Good is expected to earn between $125 million and $150 million on its three-day opening weekend at the box office in North America.

According to the report, Wicked: For Good is expected to earn between $70 million and $80 million over the 5-day overseas opening weekend. Thus, the worldwide opening weekend is likely to fall within the range of $195 million to $230 million. If it falls in that range, then Wicked 2 will register an all-time record for a musical adaptation.
