Skyfall Falls at the Box Office on Weekdays

Skyfall did an excellent business on its 1st weekend collecting 23 Crores at the domestic box office. However, the movie saw a drop on Monday when it made about 2.25 Crores business and a further drop on Tuesday making about 2 Crores business at the domestic box office. The movie stands at a total box office collection of about 27.25 Crores in India.

A major chunk of this box office collection has come from down South. It’s opening day collections were excellent in South India and it continued to remain stable even though at lower levels.

However, Skyfall will lose some screen space in the next week and drop heavily at box office, thanks to the major Bollywood releases – Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Son Of Sardaar.
