It’s good to see Bollywood showing consistency in 2024. Even though Fighter didn’t perform up to the mark, it successfully crossed the 300 crore mark at the worldwide box office. After that, not one or two but three Bollywood releases hit the milestone of 100 crores, and now, out of these three films, Shaitaan has crossed 150 crores gross globally in just 11 days. The Ajay Devgn and R Madhavan starrer has turned out to be a big winner for all those who are associated with it. Especially for director Vikas Bahl, it’s a big relief after the debacle of Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon’s Ganapath. This film is a great example of how a good trailer can boost the potential at the box office if the content is good.
Shaitaan at the worldwide box office
As per the latest collection update, Shaitaan has earned 109.19 crores net at the Indian box office in 11 days. In gross, it equals 128.84 crores gross. In overseas, the number is decent as 26 crores gross has come so far. Combining Indian and overseas gross, the total stands at 154.84 crores gross at the worldwide office.
So far, four Bollywood films have crossed 100 crores gross at the worldwide box office. With 154.84 crores gross, Shaitaan has surpassed 143.66 crores gross of Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya and has become the second highest-grossing Bollywood at the worldwide box office in 2024.
Hrithik Roshan’s Fighter stands at the top with 351.75 crores gross.
What’s next for Shaitaan
From here, the next important milestone for this horror thriller is to touch the milestone of 200 crores gross. The feat is expected to be achieved in the next few days. As far as the lifetime collection is concerned, the film is expected to end its journey below 250 crores gross. Nonetheless, it’s a big win for Ajay Devgn, R Madhavan, and the entire team.
