Now, in the latest development, it has now crossed Mammootty’s blockbuster, Bheeshma Parvam, to become the 5th highest-grossing Malayalam film of all time. Keep reading to know more!
Directed by Girish A. D., the rom-com witnessed positive reactions upon its release, and due to its clean, light-hearted content, the film continues to enjoy repeat audiences. As the daily collection had gone below the 1 crore mark, the film slowed down in its journey towards the 100 crore mark globally, but now, with the Telugu version, the collection will see a spike.
Premalu at the worldwide box office
Premalu has completed a theatrical run of 28 days, and during this journey, a total of 46 crores net has been amassed at the Indian box office. In gross, it equals 54.28 crores. Apart from the domestic market, the film is also a mega success in overseas, and so far, 35 crores gross have come. Combining both Indian and overseas gross, the collection stands at 89.28 crores gross at the worldwide box office.
With 89.28 crores gross, Premalu has crossed the lifetime collection of Mammootty’s Bheeshma Parvam. Released in 2022, Bheeshma Parvam earned a solid 88.50 crores gross at the worldwide box office.
