Sanjay Leela Bhansali must be jumping in joy right now! Despite facing several controversies and hurdles, Padmaavat has successfully shattered the box office numbers.
This Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh starrer has crossed the 300 crore* mark at the Indian box office.

Padmaavat has still not released in Gujarat and Rajasthan but still the film is getting rave reviews from all over the world. The film was first supposed to release last year. But due to the protests by the fringe groups, Padmaavat got released this year on January 25, 2018. Finally after a lot of difficulties, the film and the makers are getting the bread and butter which they surely deserve!
The whole cast and crew of Padmaavat is happy with this overwhelming response they have received by their fans and audience.

Earlier, when Deepika was asked about how she is celebrating the success of “Padmaavat“, she said: “To be really honest, I think there hasn’t been any time to celebrate the success because there is so much happening right now. Of course, it is the time for celebration. I think receiving awards like these reminds me why I am in this business of making films, because cinema is such a powerful medium. It spreads love and brings people together. I think awards like these really sort of reinstate that.”
“As far as my film is concerned, I had said this earlier as well, there is no stopping it. I think it deserves all the kind of love and blessings that we are receiving. I think box-office numbers are again testament of that and it’s not over yet,” she added.
