In merely 4 days, Mary Kom collected 7.25 crores from its overseas circuits alone which is brilliant for a woman oriented film. Obviously Priyanka being cast in the role of an Olympic Champion did the film much good. A feasible face overseas and a superstar even abroad, the actress was the crowd pulling factor of the film. Even Mary Kom’s thrilling life story is enticing for audiences all over the world.

Though Queen fared well in India this year, the film did not work too well in the overseas. Obviously with Priyanka being in the film, it benefited tremendously from her stardom.
