Mardaani added some business over the third week. The Rani Mukerji film now stands with a total collection of 36 crores at the domestic box office, which is quite decent. Being a woman-centric film, Mardaani pulled off a good business so far.

The film had an excellent positive word of mouth that worked perfectly for it. Dealing with the issue of child trafficking, the film was made tax free in mass circuits for awareness and that too helped the film soar further. With the new releases, the film suffered but still the third week business has been decent for the film.
