Mardaani 2 Box Office Day 14: Does Well In Its Second Week

After accumulating 28.05 crores in its first week, Mardaani 2 did well in its second week to result in an overall total of 40.20 crores. Of course, given the fact that this one is a word of mouth affair which also boasts of good content, Mardaani 2 could have sustained even better and gone past at least 45 crores, if not reach 50 crores milestone. However, there was massive competition from Dabangg 3 and though the Salman Khan starrer didn’t really put the box office on fire, it was still strong enough for Mardaani 2 to see a major reduction in footfalls.

Still, the film has been a good enough feat personally for Rani Mukerji as she has now delivered a hat-trick of successes [Mardaani, Hichki, Mardaani 2]. Hardly anyone from her generation is currently active in the world of films, leave aside seeing even a success or two. However, the actress has been facing the camera on her own terms and ensuring that audiences line up for her even today.
