Having received rave reviews from almost every critic in B-Town , Lootera did not see the kick start it should have. The movie made about 4.5 Crores as per early estimates on its Day 1 at the domestic box office. Being an out and out Multiplex film, the movie fared better in Urban Centres than that of the Mass Belts.
Considering the fact that Lootera is a bigger film than any of Ranveer Singh’s previous releases, there are a lot of expectation lined up from the same. Taking a look at the circuits, West Bengal seems to be the highest grosser for Lootera, owing to the film being shot there.
The makers of the film will expect way better numbers on Saturday and Sunday if the film is to put up a decent box office total on the charts.
