Lai Bhaari has broken all benchmarks of a Marathi film, as far as box office performance is concerned. The film’s performance in its opening weekend was – 3.10 crores on Friday, 3.60 crores on Saturday and 3.85 crores on Sunday. Lai Bhaari now stands at a total of 10.55 crores at the Box Office. These collections have been collected from the Maharashtra circuit only.

Riteish Deshmukh has made a smashing Marathi debut with this film and the responses for the film clearly prove that. In Mumbai and other cities in Maharashtra the film scored almost housefull in single screens and multiplexes. It has been a bumper performance for any Marathi film so far.
