Hollywood Box-Office (3rd April Weekend)

Three new films – Hop, Source Code and Insidious – made it to the Top 5 chart in the weekend gone by. Universal Pictures’ Hop debuted at the top spot with a take of US $37.5 million. Summit Entertainment’s Source Code came in second. The film grossed US $14.8 million in its debut weekend. FilmDistrict’s Insidious debuted at the third place. It grossed $13.3 million.

Twentieth Century Fox’s Diary Of A Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules dropped three places in its second weekend to come in fourth. It collected $10 million to take its 10-day total to $38.2 million. Rounding off the Top 5 chart was Limitless with a collection of $9.3 million. The 17-day total of the Rogue Pictures’ flick went up to $55.5 million.
