The Pushpa 2 storm is roaring loudly across theatres worldwide. India has found its highest-grossing film of 2024. Ram Charan led Game Changer is now expected to continue the streak of success. The pre-sales for the premieres have already begun in the USA, but the pace has yet to pick up. Scroll below for the latest box office update!
USA Premiere Advance Sales
As per the latest update around 10 AM, Game Changer has sold pre-sales worth $60.8K in the USA. It has witnessed a growth of 58% compared to advance bookings of $38K on Monday. Shankar’s directorial has sold 2,143 tickets from 537 shows across 197 locations in the North American circuit.
The premiere show of Game Changer is scheduled for January 9, 2024, in the USA. This means there are still 24 days until the premiere. The beginning has been decent but not upto the mark for a film of this stature. Ram Charan will return to the big screens after a blockbuster like RRR. On the other hand, director Shankar is expecting to score a hit after Indian 2, which did not perform very well.
The cast is strong, and the initial hype was promising, but the pace has yet to pick up in pre-sales. One possible reason is the trailer, which received mixed reviews, followed by the song NaaNaa Hyraanaa, which received a lot of criticism over its VFX.
Hopefully, the momentum will pick up as the premiere date gets closer.
