The movie, which released with Akshay Kumar starrer Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty, though faced a very tough competition at the Box Office, managed to rake in pretty good moolah even in its second weekend.
On its 2nd Friday, Filmistaan collected 20.3 lacs. Picking up slightly on 2nd Saturday, the film raked in 35.3 lacs and showing some more escalation in its collections it collected 40.3 lacs on its 2nd Sunday. Filmistaan now stands at a domestic total of 5.86 crores nett at the Box Office.
Due to four new releases this week, namely – Fugly, Chal Bhaag, Machhli Jal Ki Rani Hai and Unforgettable, this Nitin Kakkar directorial had to lose out a lot many screens to it. Moreover, with Holiday dominating at the Box Office, Filmistaan had less scope to make some business out there.
