Join UsAfter the grilling two weeks, with the IPL fever pitching higher, Dawid Dhawan’s Chashme Baddoor has miraculously managed to collect approximate 6 crores nett in its second weekend at the Domestic Box Office.
The film indeed turned out to be a surprise package for both critics and the masses. Interesting releases and the cricket craze that followed did not quite disrupt the film’s smooth upward growth. The film earned Rs. 1.50 crore on Friday, Rs 2 crore nett on Saturday and 2.50 crore nett on Sunday.
The film has so far earned an overall total of 36 crores and definitely expects more. While the concept of remakes suffered a major blow after Himmatwala fell flat, the King of Comedies David Dhawan proved his class by delivering an appreciable remake of sorts!
