Box Office Predictions Of Varun Dhawan’s October: Varun Dhawan boasts of an enviable record that no one from the current or the past generation has to his or her name. He has as many as nine back to back successes behind him.

Something that is truly unimaginable in the times when audiences have become harsher when it comes to giving their love to films in theaters.

Right from his debut flick Student of the Year to his last release Judwaa 2, Varun Dhawan has been consistent when it comes to the Box Office outcome of his films. Whether it is romcoms [Student of the Year, Main Tera Hero, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, Badrinath Ki Dulhania], ‘masala’ flicks [Dilwale, Dishoom, Judwaa 2], a dance film [ABCD 2] or even an offbeat film [Badlapur], his films have invariably made profits for all involved. He has an amazing triple hat-trick to his name and hence all eyes are now on whether he will make it 10 in a row with October.

In many ways, the Shoojit Sircar directed film is Varun’s most unconventional film ever since he burst into the Bollywood scene. The film doesn’t really have a quintessential hero-heroine love angle, it seems to have a sad overtone to it and Shoojit is anyways known for bringing different sensibilities into play when it comes to narrating his tale.

Hence, to expect a 10 crore plus opener in October would be stretching it way too far. As of now, even if the film manages a 7-8 crore start for itself, it would be decent enough as that would give it a good enough platform to grow over the weekend on the basis of word of mouth.
