Bombay Velvet continued with its gloomy fate on its second weekend. The film starring Ranbir Kapoor in the lead started off on a low note and could not show any growth further. The film collected merely 1.40 crores on its second weekend at the Domestic Box Office.

Bombay Velvet could not appease the masses thanks to its urban niche genre. In spite of releasing a week prior to Bombay Velvet, Piku managed to make a collection of 6.5 crores on its third weekend which is commendable. Bombay Velvet on the other hand could not score on any point, not even its music. The film will be recording huge losses for the makers and could be the disaster film of the year.
