Bewakoofiyaan had a poor first weekend. The film was expected to pick up considering the movie coming from a big banner like YRF and it being a solo release this week. However, the movie failed to show any growth in the weekend!

Bewakoofiyaan collected around 7 crores in its Opening weekend at the Domestic Box Office, which is low and disappointing.

This Sonam Kapoor and Ayushmaan Khurrana starrer being a multiplex oriented film could have ensured business over the weekend although the film earned average critic ratings. Moreover, an unsuccessful word of mouth publicity affected its performance. While Queen continued to shine at box office even on it’s second weekend, Bewakoofiyaan had little chance to survive this competition.

Since the weekend records are poor, there is not much for this film to pick up over the week!
