Salman-Anushka starrer Sultan has become the highest weekend grosser of 2016 in just two days after its release. The film collected 73.74 crores in 2 days and now has beaten the opening weekend collection of Housefull 3, which is 53.31 crores.

The film is set to score 140 crore+ in its extended opening weekend of 5 days.

This sports drama is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, who previously helmed Mere Brother Ki Dulhan and Gunday. Sultan also features Amit Sadh and Randeep Hooda in key roles.
