Director Subhash Kapoor known for his hit film, Jolly LLB was accused of molestation by actress Geetika Tyagi, who has starred in films like Aatma and What The Fish. After she filed a complaint with the Versova police station on April 14th, the director was arrested yesterday and taken into custody for the same. Being presented before the Andheri court, Subhash Kapoor was later granted bail.

While Kapoor and his friend Danish Raza, a script writer, were both held for the same, Danish is absconding at the moment. The case had come out in the open after Tyagi had posted a video of herself and Subhash Kapoor along with his wife confronting on the molestation incident on Twitter.

Subhash and Danish were booked under IPC sections 354 (outraging a woman’s modesty), 501 (Printing or engraving matter known to be defamatory) and 34 (Acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention).
