The trailer and the promos and songs so far have received a positive response from the audience. The excitement to watch Deepika is a different role and never-seen-before avatar is high. Well, there’s another good news for all the cine-goers.

The Central Board of Film Certification has given a ‘U’ certificate to this Deepika and Vikrant starrer. As reported by Indian Express, Meghna is happy with CBFC’s certification. She said that getting a ‘U’ certification is an immense validation especially for her film Chhapaak, which can be seen by people as something difficult and graphic in terms of storyline.
The Raazi director said in a statement, “This validation by the CBFC, that everyone should be able to see this film, is a valuable encouragement for ‘Chhapaak’.”
