Bollywood Icon Govinda Admitted To Mumbai Hospital After Losing Consciousness At Home
61-year-old actor Govinda collapsed at his residence on Tuesday night and was taken to a Mumbai hospital, where he was admitted and is under medical observation.

Fans and well-wishers of veteran actor Dharmendra recently breathed a sigh of relief after reports confirmed his discharge from the hospital. However, another Bollywood legend, Govinda, has reportedly been admitted to CritiCare Hospital in Juhu, according to the Times of India.
As per the report, the 61-year-old actor fainted at his home around midnight on Tuesday. Following the incident, Govinda was admitted to the hospital, where he is under observation and undergoing a series of medical tests to determine the cause of his sudden loss of consciousness.
Just a day earlier, a visibly emotional Govinda was spotted visiting Dharmendra at Breach Candy Hospital. The actor was seen driving his own car during the visit. Interestingly, the two stars, among Bollywood’s most loved faces of their era, worked together in several films between the late 1980s and early 1990s.
Fans may also recall that on October 1, 2024, Govinda was taken to the hospital after his licensed revolver allegedly misfired, causing a bullet wound to his knee. At the time, the entire film industry expressed concern and sent their best wishes to the veteran performer. Now, almost a year after that unfortunate incident, the actor has once again been admitted to the hospital, this time due to the aforementioned health scare. Back then, he was discharged after three days of treatment. We just hope that he will be back home very soon.
The last time Govinda appeared in a prominent movie role was in the 2019 comedy Rangeela Raja, where he played a double role. Since then, his diehard fans have eagerly awaited his grand big-screen comeback. In fact, with the OTT boom opening up exciting new opportunities for seasoned stars, this might just be the perfect time for him to explore a web series or a direct-to-OTT film. But before that, fans across the country have only one wish – for Govinda to recover soon and return to the screen in full health and spirit.
