First of all, Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss airs throughout the week but Salman himself makes an appearance on Fridays and Saturdays. On the other hand, Mr. Bachchan is seen on the show daily, day-after-day. Plus the fact that KBC inaugurated on Amitabh Bachchan’s birthday (October 11), must have helped garner an aMap rating of 5, beating Bigg Boss that had got a rating of 3.6 on its first day telecast.
