After a string of successful editions of the American installments, The Real Housewives added a new show titled The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. This came after Orange County, New York City, Atlanta, New Jersey, Beverly Hills, Miami, and Potomac became long-running and hit editions.
The Salt Lake City edition premiered in November 2020, and women from Salt Lake City, Utah, were cast as the main cast members. Season 1 (2020-2021)
The first and debut season of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City aired from November 11, 2020, to February 24, 2021, with 16 episodes. It starred Lisa Barlow, Mary Cosby, Heather Gay, Meredith Marks, Whitney Rose, and Jen Shah as the main cast members of the brand-new housewives edition.
Season 2 (2021-2022)
Season 2 aired from September 12, 2021, to March 13, 2022, with a total of 24 episodes. All the cast members, including Barlow, Cosby, Gay, Marks, Rose, and Shah, returned and were joined by Jennie Nguyen as the newbie.
The third edition aired 16 episodes from September 28, 2022, to February 1, 2023. Barlow, Gay, Marks, Rose, and Shah returned while Cosby left. The makers fired Nguyen for her racist posts regarding the Black Lives Matter movement. Angie Harrington, Angie Katsanevas, and Danna Bui-Negrete were seen appearing in recurring capacity as friends.
Season 4 (2023-2024)
Season 4 aired 19 episodes from September 5, 2023, to January 23, 2024. Barlow, Gay, Marks, and Rose returned, while Shah could not return as she was sentenced to more than 6 years in prison for fraud. Katsanevas was promoted from a recurring friend to a main RHOSLC cast member. Monica Garcia joined as the newest addition to the housewives lineup.
Season 5 (2024-2025)
The fifth season aired from September 18, 2024, to February 5, 2025, with a total of 19 episodes. Barlow, Gay, Marks, Rose, and Katsanevas returned, while Garcia left after the rest of the cast exposed her controversial stalker behavior and hate spreading online. Cosby returned as a housewife. Bronwyn Newport was the newest cast addition to the already chaotic mix.
Season 6: What We Know
Most of the cast, including last season’s newbie Newport, are expected to return for another season. Filming has been going on in full swing, and as per reports, another juicy and entertaining season is on the cards. The cast of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City is set to deliver drama yet again.
