It was one of the biggest casting makeovers when Navjot Singh Sidhu’s continous ‘Thoko Taali’ remarks and shayaris were replaced by Archana Puran Singh’s laughter after the ex-cricketer and politician made an exit from The Kapil Sharma Show following his jail term. Archana’s initial salary for the show was much less than Sidhu’s.
But being a consistent part of Kapil Sharma’s Show, Archana has earned quite a handsome amount for herself. She will next be seen on The Great Indian Kapil Show, which will air on Netflix from March end.
Archana Puran Singh replaced Navjot Singh Sidhu in season 2 of The Kapil Sharma Show and she was offered a total of 2 crore for the initial season. However, Sidhu’s paycheck was much higher than that of the Mohabbatein actress.
Navjot Singh Sidhu was paid a whopping 25 crore to occupy the chair as a permanent guest on The Kapil Sharma Show that aired on Sony TV. He earned almost 1150% higher than Archana Puran Singh, as her initial fee was only 2 crore per season.
Tables Turned & So Did Archana’s Paycheck
However, Archana Puran Singh’s paychecks took a jump from season 3. She was paid 10 lakh per episode, but her entire earnings from the show because of the number of episodes per season made the difference.

Archana Puran Singh earned a total of 23.50 crore in total from the comedy show. At the same time, she earned 21.70 crore for 217 episodes of The Kapil Sharma Show seasons 3,4 and 5. She was paid 2 crore for the initial season as a permanent guest.

Often, Archana Puran Singh is trolled for her paychecks as people say she has earned a fortune and will continue doing so with The Great Indian Kapil Show. In one of her interviews, the actress opened up on the digs and shared how she shoots for 4 – 5 hours straight and sometimes even more than that for a single episode.
During such lengthy hours, she sits on the same uncomfortable sofa, listens to every joke cracked, and then reacts to the same despite being in any mood. Well, her job definitely might not be the toughest on the show, but it might not be the easiest either.
