Shah Rukh Khan’s TV Debut
Although SRK started his career in TV, his debut as a reality show host came along with Kaun Banega Crorepati when he replaced Amitabh Bachchan for the third season of the quiz-based game show. He was offered a whopping 2.5 crore per episode to host the season in 2007, much before Salman’s Bigg Boss.

Mr. Perfectionist made his debut on TV with Satyameva Jayate. The actor charged 3 crore per episode for the show that aired in 2012. His fee was 20% higher than Shah Rukh Khan & Salman Khan’s hosting fees.

So, was Aamir Khan the highest-paid TV host for their debut season? Well, let us do some math. Salman Khan earned 35 crore from Bigg Boss 4, hosting 14 weekends and getting paid 2.5 crore for each weekend. The Thugs of Hindostan actor earned 88% more than Salman Khan – 66 crore for the first season of Satyameva Jayate, which aired 22 episodes. However, Shah Rukh Khan earned 132.5 crore for hosting 53 episodes of Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 3! A whopping 278% higher than Salman Khan’s fee and 100% higher than Aamir Khan’s fee!
