Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande were two celebrities who started their careers together and participated in the same reality show against each other as contestants while they were dating each other. Both actors were a part of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 4.
Sushant was paired with Shampa in the show that aired in 2011. Meanwhile, Ankita Lokhande was paired with former Bigg Boss contestant Nishant Bhat on the dance reality show. The winning prize of the season was 50 lakh, which was judged by Remo D’Souza, Madhuri Dixit, and Malaika Arora.
During his appearance on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, he made Madhuri Dixit cry with his performance, which was a tribute to his mother. Sushant later appeared on the show as a star while he promoted his films on the show.
Sushant was an incredible dancer, and his journey on Jhalak was phenomenal. However, he did not get enough votes compared to Meiyang Chang, who finished second. Chang lifted the trophy and a 50 lakh winning prize. However, the fates turned the very next moment since Sushant played the lead in Detective Byomkesh Bakshy, where Chang had a supporting role.

Sushant‘s highest paycheck was for the 2019 film Chhichhore, for which he earned 8 crore. The late actor’s last film was Dil Bechara, for which he slashed his paycheck by half since it was his best friend Mukesh Chhabra’s directorial debut. This was almost 1500% higher than what he lost in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 4.
Ankita Lokhande’s Journey After Jhalak
Ankita was paid Rs 2,000 per day for Pavitra Rishta, which was later hiked to Rs 70,000 per day. After she quit the show, she was brought back at a remuneration of 1 lakh per day! She was offered films like Ram Leela, Happy New Year, and Sultan, but she wanted to get married in life and passed the offers.
Ankita Lokhande’s Highest Paycheck
Ankita was recently paid around 1.8 crore for her stint in Bigg Boss 17, which might be her highest paycheck for a period of 15 weeks. Almost 3X times more than what she lost after she was eliminated from Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. It is rumored that the actress will be working on Naagin 7 next.
