RIP Irrfan Khan: Kamal Haasan, Chiranjeevi & Dhanush Express Their Grief Over The Legendary Actor’s Demise

The Indian Film fraternity today morning woke up to the sad news about the sudden demise of legendary actor Irrfan Khan. The versatile actor who was last seen on the big screen in Angrezi Medium breathed his last at Mumbai’s Kokilaben where he succumbed to Colon infection. Fans and followers of Irrfan Khan among others including the likes of Kamal Haasan, Dhanush, and Chiranjeevi took to Twitter to express their grief.

Tamil superstar Kamal Haasan who always has been a big admirer of Irrfan Khan’s work offered his condolences, as his tweet read, “Too soon to leave @irrfank Ji. Your work always left me in awe. You’re one of the finest actors I know, I wish you stayed longer. You deserved more time. Strength to the family at this time.”

Dhanush after learning the sudden demise of Irrfan Khan was in a state of shock just like many of Angrezi Medium star’s fans. The Maari actor offered his condolences to Irrfan’s family and others close to him: ” Heartbroken by the news, what a great talent and a wonderful human being we have lost. I will always remember his kind words to me. There is a better place and I know he is there. My deepest condolences to his family and dear ones. May his soul rest in peace”
