Sarileru Neekevvaru which released on the occasion of Makar Sankranthi in January was aired on a leading Telugu channel on the auspicious occasion of Ugadi i.e Telugu New Year.

The TRP results had Mahesh Babu fans going gaga for the actor on Social media sites, as Sarileru Neekevvaru garnered a whopping 23.4 TRP by beating Prabhas starrer Baahubali: The Beginning which has 21.8 TRP, and Baahubali: The Conclusion which when premiered had garnered 22.7 TRP.

There’s no doubt that Lockdown happens to be one sole reason behind Sarileru Neekevvaru achieving this glorious feat.

Mahesh Babu fans shared a series of tweets praising the superstar and his action drama.

Sarileru Neekevvaru helmed by Anil Ravipudi has Rashmika Mandannaas the film’s leading lady. The action drama also has veteran actors Prakash Raj and Vijayashanti in key roles.
