Yes, you read that right, Deepika is all set to collaborate with Prabhas for his next with Mahanati director Nag Ashwin and below are all the deets you would want to know.
The buzz that Prabhas and Deepika Padukone are being considered for a film together has been going on for a while. The makers have now announced the big news and fans have gone berserk on social media.
Meanwhile, #Prabhas21 makers had already hinted a big announcement today. Yesterday, a tweet read, “We’re extremely thrilled with the response guys! We love you..Surprise unveils at 11 AM tomorrow.”
Announcing Deepika Padukone’s entry to the film, the makers shared a beautiful heart-warming video. They wrote, As promised, here it is – our next big announcement! WELCOMING THE SUPERSTAR.”

If the buzz is to go by, the Deepika Padukone and Prabhas starrer to be directed by Nag Ashwin is said to be a sci-fi pan India film. According to reports, the film is set in a backdrop of a fiction third world war.
For the unversed, the buzz about this collaboration was being speculated for a very long time.
