The ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike has forced many Hollywood films to halt production, and the unfortunate consequence of it is a delay in release. A list of new movies, including A Quiet Place: Day One and SpongeBob SquarePants, have been pushed from their original release dates. However, Mission: Impossible 8 fans will be disheartened to hear that they will have to wait longer than expected for the final part. Scroll below for more details!
Titled Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part Two, the Tom Cruise led spy action film was scheduled for release on June 28, 2024. The timeline had been planned very well by makers after fans were left at a cliffhanger with Part One of the final installment of the blockbuster franchise. But it looks like SAG-AFTRA forced the team to make changes in some unexpected ways.
Mission Impossible 8 has been delayed by almost a year and will now release on May 23, 2025. Tom Cruise starrer will also come with a new title as Paramount and Skydance have decided to drop the second half, ‘Dead Reckoning Part Two.’ However, there will be no changes in the timeline as the film will follow the events of Dead Reckoning Part One.
