Marvel and Disney+ announced a lot of interesting series, and many have already been released since 2021. From WandaVision to What If…? Season 2, the MCU fans have enjoyed exciting stories from the superhero world from the comforts of their home. However, some series are yet to be released, like Iron Heart and Nova. It has been a long time since they were announced. Now, Marvel Executive Producer Brad Winderbaum has addressed the delay in these projects.
In an interview with Comicbook, Marvel Studios’ Brad Winderbaum addressed the delay in several projects and their new strategy. Brad said, “I mean, frankly, in all honesty, there was a mandate to kind of create as much as we could for Disney+ as quickly as we could, and then there was a shift. And all of a sudden, we have to start spreading our release dates out. So, that really accounts for a lot of the delays. Now, we’re using that time. We’re not sitting idle. So, it’s like it stays in the oven. You can bake certain things a little more. It’s actually, I think, ultimately, it’s only going to make things better. But, most of it is just frankly shrapnel from the business.”
Update On Nova Series
Further, Brad Winderbaum said that the studio plans to develop the Nova series. The producer said that he loves Nova and Rich Rider, too. He hopes the characters get to the screen. Brad stated how the world is always chaotic, and something comes up. So they have to focus on other things to make them happen, but he shared how he would love to see MCU’s Nova series someday.
