Model and socialite Kim Kardashian and rapper Kanye West exchanged vows at their wedding in Italy in 2014. However, for the past four months, the couple is going through a rough patch in their marriage. Now the latest report has an update regarding their marriage.
Previously, Kim had publicly addressed her husband Kanye’s mental health issue on Instagram. She confirmed that he is suffering from bipolar disorder. Kim has been supporting her husband during a tough time, but rumours claim that she doesn’t want to stay in the marriage anymore.
According to PEOPLE, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are living separate lives. An unnamed source has said to the publication, “Kim has work and projects that are important to her, and Kanye has his. Their lives don’t overlap much.”
In spite of the situation, the source claims that the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star seems happy and is “very focused on work and causes.” The reality TV star has been studying law to become a criminal justice lawyer, and planning on to take her exams in 2022.
The source further told the publication, “She strongly believes she can make a change when it comes to prison reform.” It’s worth pointing out that Kim also pushed for President Donald Trump to commute the sentence of Brandon Bernard, who was convicted of murder as a teenager in 2000. However, he was executed by the federal government on Thursday.
The source also said, “This is her passion. Her family is very proud of her.”
Meanwhile, Kanye West has maintained a relatively low profile in recent weeks. Back in July, the rapper launched a controversial bid for president of the United States. In addition, he also revealed deeply personal details about his family and marriage on the campaign trail and on Twitter.
Kanye also brought up the possibility of them splitting following his comments at a July campaign rally in South Carolina regarding private conversations the couple had had about possibly terminating her first pregnancy.
