The Dark Knight trilogy had a perfect ending with The Dark Knight Rises. We did miss the legend of Heath Ledger as Joker but Christopher Nolan made sure of not losing the grip by projecting the villain like Bane played by Tom Hardy.
Apart from Hardy’s Bane and Christian Bale’s Bruce Wayne, the final part had several other important characters. And amongst all of them, Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s John Blake shined the way throughout. Joseph aptly pulled off the role of a young police officer. His performance was praised as Batman’s sidekick.

Yes, before Joseph, Leonardo DiCaprio, Ryan Gosling and Mark Ruffalo were considered to play John Blake. But due to some reasons, no one came on board and we got Joseph as Batman’s sidekick.

Thanks to this technique, The Dark Knight Rises’ Bane appeared taller and dominating than other characters. Also, one of the most striking features of Bane’s character was his goofy voice. Speaking about the same, Tom Hardy had once revealed that his character’s voice was inspired by the late actor, Richard Burton. “Bane is somebody who’s in tremendous pain all the time. So he had an older voice. Which is sort of Richard Burton, I suppose, you know. Slightly florid, camp English villain … in many ways, but just off-centre,” Hardy had quoted as per The Dark Knight Rises’ blu-ray special additions.
