Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi make an adorable pair. The couple officially started dating in 2005. They were amongst the lovers who had to wait for gay marriages to get legalized. Ellen and Portia have even been quite vocal about the same.
During an interview in 2005, Portia even mentioned how she would have already married Ellen if marrying the same gender would have been allowed. The couple eventually got married in 2008. We have got our hand on one of the dreamy wedding videos and it’s screaming love!
The video was shared by Ellen DeGeneres herself in 2018. It was from their wedding day.
Ellen DeGeneres could be seen all decked up in an ivory blouse, matched up with trousers and a waistcoat. Portia de Rossi, on the other hand, wore a tulle ball gown with a baby pink skirt. Both the partners wore Zac Posen outfits for their special day.
The video begins with them watching each other in their wedding outfits. “You look beautiful,” says de Rossi as DeGeneres gazed her way. Ellen was left speechless and kept repeating, “Oh my God.”
The video continues with a slideshow of their wedding day. They even posed with their pets, one of which passed away yesterday. There are glimpses of them sharing their wedding vows and the moments have literally left us in tears.
Meanwhile, Ellen DeGeneres paid a tribute to her dog, Wolf, a while back. She shared a picture from their wedding day and captioned it, “Last night we had to say goodbye to our dog, Wolf. He brought us so much love and joy. I hope we did the same for him.”
