The post-IPL and end of exams season makes June a good time for big releases. With this week’s mega release being Housefull 3, trade pundits have been predicting the film to become a huge money spinner, especially after the surprising disappointment of Shah Rukh Khan’s Fan.
The multi-starrer has some biggies such as Akshay Kumar, Jacqueline Fernandez, Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Nargis Fakhri and Lisa Haydon in lead roles. Also, since the film has a franchise backing, big hopes have been latched onto this release.

Looking at the way films have been performing in the first week of June since past five years, it seems Housefull 3 could be a record-breaker.
