Shaandaar Becomes Shahid Kapoor’s Highest Opener | Day 1 Box Office Collections

Vikas Bahl’s ‘Shaandaar‘ which released yesterday on the day of Dussehra turned out to be biggest opener Shahid Kapoor but a much lower performance considering it was a Semi holiday. Also with ample of pre-release buzz and promotions, the film was expected to have a bumper opening. The film collected 13.10 crores yesterday, the numbers would had been better but the collections were affected by the India-South Africa cricket match.

It’ll be interesting to see the film’s performance in the coming days as the review of the film is not so positive and it’ll solely perform on the star power of Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. ‘Shaandaar’ is produced under the banners of Dharma Productions and Phantom Films.
