In three weeks, Rustom has now scored 124.5 crore*. The film stayed decent during the weekdays and is now approximately 4 crore away from Akshay Kumar’s own Airlift. That could well happen, considering the fact that Akira is the only notable release of the week.
Moreover, exhibitors are showing good confidence in the film and as a result of which, more than 525 screens have been allocated to the dramatic affair. That would ensure that the film maintains good visibility right through its four weeks as well.
Since Baar Baar Dekho arrives a week later, Rustom needs to collect maximum moolah this week itself.

Happy Bhag Jayegi too benefitted from not much competition around it and hence has managed to accumulate 24.52 crore in two weeks. The film stayed stable through the week and has a good number of shows in the third week as well.
Though touching 30 crore would be very difficult for the Mudassar Aziz directed film, the fact that it would at least come close is a reason good enough to celebrate for Eros and Aanand L. Rai. Diana Penty would be happy to have made a decent comeback of sorts while Abhay Deol too has managed to make his presence felt all over again. As for Jimmy Sheirgill, he has demonstrated all over again that he is such a reliable actor and a deserves a much better standing in the industry.
