It was a good Saturday at the Box Office for the films in the running as both Raid as well as Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety saw good audience inflow. While Raid jumped by almost 40% when compared to its Friday numbers, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety did even better by jumping close to 70% from its previous day.

All in all, while Raid collected 13.86 crore and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety brought in 2.11 crore, almost 16 crore came in between the two films on Saturday.

As for the overall total, Raid currently stands at 23.90 crore whereas Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety has clocked 97.02 crore already.

Sunday should be a good day as well for the industry since at least 16 crore is definitely on the cards for Raid while Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety should also come close to 3 crore. It would be a good result indeed if the combined total of both the films come close to the 20 crore mark.

By and large 2018 is turning out to be a good year for Bollywood. Yes, a disaster like Aiyaary does pull it down to an extent but then the continued run of Tiger Zinda Hai in 2018 followed by blockbuster successes like Padmaavat and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety coupled with good show of films like PadMan and Raid keeps the ball rolling for all involved.
