The movie has beaten Ranbir Kapoor-Deepika Padukone starrer Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani‘s record (62.11 crores), Saif Ali Khan-John Abraham starrer Race 2‘s record (51.30 crores) and Besharam‘s record (48 crores). Chennai Express is still dominating the 1st place in the list so far.
