Khoobsurat on its first Monday earned in the range of 1.75 crores (early estimates) only taking its cumulative total to 13 crores at the Domestic Box Office. This Sonam Kapoor starrer is performing neck to neck with Parineeti Chopra’s Daawat-e-Ishq the other significant release from this week.

Khoobsurat is obviously performing well in the multiplexes but opened to nearly nill numbers in single screens. The film is targeting primarily the teenage section and the word of the mouth is average for the film from its target group.

Luckily, the releases next week won’t be thunderous at the multiplexes which will allow Khoobsurat an extra week’s margin to perform well.
