Hugh Jackman took retirement from the Wolverine’s role in this film until Deadpool & Wolverine came along. The movie is about a weary Logan who cares for an ailing Professor X at a remote outpost on the Mexican border. His plan to hide from the outside world gets upended when he meets a young mutant who is very much like him. Logan must now protect the girl and battle the dark forces that want to capture her.
It was released in 2017 and was made on a budget of $127 million. It has the highest collections in both domestic and worldwide box office. The film earned $88.41 million on its opening weekend. It made a whopping $614.2 million globally.
