Grand Masti Beats Race 2; Holds 4th Position On Koimoi’s Top 10 Movies – 2013 List

Sometimes box office tends to give us the most surprising news pieces. If box office collections were marked off as the index of success of cinematic ventures, the team of Grand Masti has a reason to be enthralled here. The film has surpassed the lifetime total of the year’s first 100 crore club entrant Race 2. The film became the first explicit adult content venture to enter the 100 crore club and it now stands at a magnanimous domestic total of  102.50 crores , hence marginally above the total collections raked up by Race 2.

Grand Masti currently stands on the 4th position on Koimoi’s Top 10 Movies of the year list. The film is preceeded by Chennai express, YJHD and Farhan Akhtar starrer brilliant biopic Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. Though there is negligible chance that the film will be able to cash in any more collections after the release of Boss tomorrow, however the film will still score as one of the year’s highest earners at the domestic box office.
