Ek Villain started with excellent numbers and kept up a good stride so far. Being made on a modest budget of 35 crores, the film has already collected 95.40 crores at the domestic box office. With that the film has gained a profit of 60.40 crores thus taking its Return on Investment percentage to 172.50%. The film is a super-hit!

The film with its positive critics responses performed extremely well even in its 2nd weekend. In just a week, the film is already the fourth highest grosser of 2014. Thanks to the brilliant performance by Riteish Deshmukh and the sizzling chemistry of Sidharth Malhotra and Shraddha Kapoor, the film turned out to be a successful crowd puller.
