Barfi Box Office: Anurag Basu’s 2012 rom-com Barfi starring Ranbir Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and Ileana D’Cruz proved to be a heart winner. While the film was largely appreciated by critics, it also received big thumbs up from the audience.
The subject of Barfi was pretty risky because it was all about expressions and there were no dialogues in the film. However, as they say true cinema has no language and despite no dialogues, Barfi said so much to the audience and it worked so well at the box office.
After an opening of 9.2 crores, Barfi trended extremely well and scored 120 crores in lifetime. Barfi was declared a Super Hit at the box office.
